Priority of use, in order, as the Society has always published it: emergency and priority traffic; system tests and maintenance; public service; nets; mobile and portable stations; fixed stations.
In a genuine emergency, call 911 first if you can. The repeater supplements the county’s communications; it does not replace them.
What is deliberately not listed
- The 442.000 MHz Fusion machine. The old site still advertised it, and a monthly Fusion net on it. The January 2024 minutes record the 70 cm repeater as inoperative. An unverified repeater is not listed as a repeater.
- The autopatch and its speed-dial codes. Dead since 2015. The old site still printed the full procedure.
- Linking to the K-Link network. Reported in March 2022 to be winding down, and in 2023 the Clay Center repeater was reported unable to link to this one.
