The old site carried a long list of outbound links, four of which no longer resolve at all. A link list is a maintenance liability, so this one is short and graded.
Known dead, and kept here as a record
- ks0lnk.net — the K-Link Repeater Network, linked from the old repeater page and twice from the links page. The domain no longer resolves, and K-Link itself was reported in March 2022 to be winding down: “When a piece of equipment fails, it will not be replaced.”
- rcm.k0jpr.net — the Kansas repeater directory. Gone.
- list.k0jpr.net — a mailing-list sign-up. Gone.
- ks0lnk.wavedsl.net — a coverage map for a neighbouring repeater. Gone.
Those four made up the old site’s entire external repeater-reference apparatus. Naming them is more useful than quietly deleting them: anyone following an old bookmark now knows what happened.
Still worth following
- The ARRL, for licensing, Field Day and the national picture.
- The National Weather Service, for the warnings that WARN reports into.
- The Kansas Repeater Council, for the current repeater directory.
Link list: Not re-checked
Outbound links rot faster than anything else on a club site. Re-check this page annually and record the date; an unchecked link list is worse than none.
Unverified. No check on record.
