    Contact

There are three ways to reach the Manhattan Area Amateur Radio Society, and none of them is an email address on a public web page.

    Come to a meeting

Second Friday of the month, 6:30 P.M., Manhattan / Riley County Senior Center at Fourth and Leavenworth. Doors at 6:00. Anyone may attend.

    The email reflector

The reflector is the official organ of the Society under Article III of the constitution. Ask at a meeting to be added; that is deliberately a human step rather than a form.

    On the air

Call on the KSØMAN repeater, 147.255 MHz, +600 kHz, PL 88.5 — or check into the weekly net. See On the Air, where every field is graded, because the repeater changed sites recently and the record stops before the change was confirmed.

Why there is no address or telephone number here

The site this replaces published four officers’ personal email addresses unobfuscated, seven telephone numbers, a home address, and a forty-one name roster with cities. All of that is real information about real people, and a public web page is a poor place to keep it. It has not been carried across, and the tooling that builds this site refuses to publish it.
