Ride for the Red (Cross)
This picture was taken around September 2012, showing Jim Foster, KDØNQQ, and Myron Calhoun, WØPBV, working communication for the Kansas Ride-for-the-Red (Cross) fund-raising motorcycle ride.
Myron says, “Riders of 367 motorcycles drove from Topeka westward, ate lunch at Briggs Auto (where Jim and I were beginning to have to hold the ‘tent’ down as the wind picked up), drove on to Fort Riley, then turned back and headed southward (to Emporia, I think) before returning to Topeka.”
