○ It is time to send a $32 check for the tower.
Committee Reports:
● Field Day
○ Since we have not had a lot of public present in past field days, we are considering concentrating on comborts and ability to operate. Jon has spoke with Lori about operating in the county shops for field day. There would be air conditioning and bathrooms.
○ Jim inquired what all is needed for field day; ie power, antennas, towers. Jon will work on a proposal to present to the group.
○ Myron asked if the county shop would be in use for country stampede. Jon says he has been told probably not.
○ Patti said that Mark still seemed interested in loaning us his solar power rig and Jim is going to contact him about this.
New Business:
● George brought up meeting flow and committees. He suggested we create committees so that we do not slow down the club meeting. The committee can meet outside of the club meeting to focus on details and report back. This way we can focus on more demos and presentations during the club meetings.

At the next meeting, Ashley will present the committees of 2017 and we can discuss which ones to continue.
Events for upcoming year (focus on one event per month). Ashley will coordinate calendar
○ Testing Sessions – One a quarter for first three quarters ■ Ashley will email Jeff to check on test session and send out an email ○ Field Day (June)
○ Bike rides – one possibly two
■ Casa bike ride is around June. Jim will reach out to find out more information.
■ Jim will also reach out to the bike store owner about other possible bike rides
○ Green apple bikes
■ First round up will be March 1st
○ Emergency Exercise
○ Fox hunt
○ Possible events with Pot county undersheriff
This month’s event will be to tour the KSU Radio Club shop Monday night, January 29th at 7pm
