President Mike Asbury called the meeting to order.
Minutes of the July meeting were read and approved.
Treasurers Report was read and approved.

Open discussion of Dave Mills’ concept for public training/demonstration events. Dave not present at the time; subject tabled.

Ham test will be set for Sept 17 (done)
Jim will follow up on request for Ves on Ft. Riley (I reached out, but he never really followed up)
• Fox Hunt set for 24 Sept – Jason Johnson asked for club support ◦ Club voted Jason a budget of $200 for food and other supplies ◦ Antenna building class scheduled for after September meeting • Repeater updates
◦ To reduce interference, Dave has proposed using DCS (vs PL) codes to trigger the repeater. This would reduce the false triggering of the repeater
◦ Another option would be to buy and ESCOM controller
◦ Will discuss further at Sept meeting
