The Society elects four officers each year, and elects a Trustee to hold its FCC registrations.
Elected offices
- President — chairs meetings and sets the venue in consultation with the other officers.
- Vice-President.
- Secretary — keeps the minutes that become this site’s archive.
- Treasurer — receives dues; membership begins when the Treasurer receives them.
All four must be members. Terms are one year, by majority vote. The Secretary and the Treasurer may be the same person. (Article VI.)
Trustee
The Trustee’s name and callsign register the Society’s repeaters and stations with the FCC. The Trustee is nominated by the President in consultation with the other officers and elected by majority vote at a regular meeting, and serves until no longer eligible or until asking to be relieved. (Article X.)
Auditor
The President-elect appoints an Auditor, who must review the books within thirty days and report to the President and then to the Society — the report to be published in the January newsletter. (Article VI.)
Names and contact details
This page lists offices, not people. Personal contact details for officers and members are not published on this site. Reach anyone through the Society email reflector or at a meeting. The previous site published four officers’ personal email addresses in plain text on its home page; that is the one thing this rebuild was least willing to carry forward.
Current officeholders: Not published here
Officers are elected at the November annual meeting. Publish the roles and the election date, never personal contact details.
